Pedaling through the hills surrounding the city of Ascoli Piceno, on the crags of Mount Ascensione, you will discover the magical world of the "calanchi" (gullies), created over the centuries by the erosion of the clayey slopes facing south. 

An arid but suggestive landscape, almost lunar. 

You will ride on a sharp ridge enjoying a wonderful view over the valley of the badlands, then you will cross an ancient village now half-abandoned.

Afterwards you will visit a family-run winery, where women are the protagonists".

They will offer us a tasting of their precious organic wines: Passerina, IGT Marche Rosso and Falerio Pecorino. 

A perfect ending for a day spent among nature, good food and wine!
